Accounts Payable Specialist The Professional's Advantage starts with a strong team General Summary McCabe Lumber located in Loveland, Ohio a leader in the Building Material and Lumber Industry is looking for a Full Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Review, code and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently; solve payment discrepancies Ensure proper approval and documentation for all expenditures Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments (ACH) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and ensure compliance with company policies Assist with month-end close, including accruals and account reconciliations Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and increase efficiency Any other administrative duties requested by management Job Requirements 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting / administrative experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes Proficiency in accounting software High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and customer service skills Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel Please apply by responding to this Indeed ad or stop by and complete an application in person.
