About Us Thrill Point Motorsports is a Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and multi-brand powersports dealership serving Medina, Akron, Cleveland, and surrounding areas. We sell and service motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, scooters, and related equipment. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to own parts and manufacturer payables, OEM holdbacks, unit invoices, and multi-card credit card reconciliation. Job Summary Process and reconcile accounts payable for the dealership with a focus on parts vendor accounts, OEM manufacturer invoices and holdbacks, new-unit invoices, and 10+ credit card accounts. Also support QuickBooks accounting for smaller sister companies. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable for dealership parts accounts: receive, code, match, and process vendor invoices; resolve discrepancies with vendors and parts staff Perform holdback reconciliation and related processes for OEM manufacturers (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and others as applicable) Process invoices for units received from manufacturers; verify floorplan / unit cost against receiving and manufacturer documents Analyze and reconcile 10+ company credit card accounts; code transactions, match receipts, identify exceptions, and prepare for month-end Enter and maintain AP activity in the dealership accounting system (Lightspeed) and in QuickBooks for smaller sister companies Reconcile vendor statements to the general ledger; research and clear open items Prepare payment batches (checks / ACH) for review and timely payment to capture discounts and avoid late fees Maintain vendor files, W-9 / 1099 information, and organized AP records Assist with month-end close items related to AP, holdbacks, and credit card accounts Communicate with manufacturers, parts vendors, and internal departments (parts, sales, management) Requirements Proven accounts payable experience (dealership, powersports, automotive, or multi-vendor retail preferred) Working knowledge of QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting on smaller entities Excel skills (reconciliations, lookups, basic analysis) High attention to detail and accuracy with invoices, statements, and credit card activity Ability to manage multiple vendor and manufacturer processes at once Reliable, organized, and able to meet payment and close deadlines High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field a plus
Pay:
$22.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
