About this Position Enters accounting data into the Banner system and analyzes differences or errors and communicates with the originator to find appropriate entry. Distributes daily, weekly, and monthly reports generated against the financial system. Verifies that reports have been received and delivered to appropriate personnel. Route incoming phone calls, distribute incoming mail, and coordinate the distribution of payment documents, flow of reports and flow of forms to the support staff and other University departments. Process and coordinate the distribution of the 10A on-demand check request for multiple OSU campuses. Required Qualifications High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Financial Assistant I
  • No experience required. Financial Assistant II
  • 1 year of related experience. Financial Assistant Sr
  • 3 years of clerical/customer service experience.
Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or
Knowledge:
Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications Associate's in Accounting or related field. Three years related experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience. An associate's degree in a related field and one year of experience would be the equivalent of three years of related experience.
