full-time We are seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead to oversee AP operations, lead a team, and serve as the primary point of contact for accounts payable and business plan matters. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise, sharp time management skills, and hands-on reconciliation experience, along with a track record of leading and developing a team. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the Accounts Payable lead, overseeing day-to-day AP operations Process client payables in a timely manner, aligned with audit requirements Reconcile the Accounts Payable ledger and client net collection balances against system transactions Perform monthly account reconciliations and research/resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records Support month-end close activities related to AP, including accruals and account analysis Partner with sales leads to reconcile deductions actualized in the Business Plan Drive continuous process improvement across AP and Business Plan workflows Serve as the primary contact for AP and business plan questions, interacting directly with clients on deduction-related inquiries Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Business preferred 7-10+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience 3-5+ years of people management experience Proficient in Sage 300 (or comparable AP software) and Excel Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with clients and internal teams
