Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing. This person will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting employees, and helping keep our financial operations organized and compliant. Key Responsibilities Process biweekly or weekly payroll accurately and on time. Meet with leadership daily to review the company's current financial position and develop a clear financial game plan Maintain employee payroll records and handle payroll-related questions. Calculate wages, deductions, taxes, benefits, and other payroll adjustments. Manage accounts payable. Record and reconcile daily financial transactions. Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts. Monitor expenses, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances. Maintain organized and accurate accounting records. Assist with payroll tax filings and other required compliance reporting. Work with management, employees, and vendors, as needed. Calculates and submits monthly sales tax. Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting or payroll issues promptly. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information. Qualifications 2+ years of accounting and/or payroll experience preferred. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and payroll processes. Experience with accounting and payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or similar systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
