Job Description
Overview International importer close to the Philadelphia international airport is seeking a detail-oriented and organized bookkeeper/logistics person to join our office team. This is a part time (25/hours week) on-site position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting/bookkeeping , with proficiency in software like Quickbooks and Microsoft Office including Excel. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient office procedures, managing financial records, customer service and supporting the overall administrative functions of the organization. Responsibilities Order tracking and entering, creating purchase orders, correspondence, and record-keeping Data management, reporting and administration Pricing and contracting support Order processing, inventory management Invoicing using Quickbooks desktop software Logistics both domestic and international Customs clearing documentation and container tracking Review and approval of freight bills Experience At least four years of proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Associates or Bachelors degree in business (or similar). Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and account reconciliation. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel or other accounting software is highly desirable. Familiarity with accounting practices and inventory management is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical skills for account analysis and problem-solving capabilities. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and external companies.
