Job Description

Salary Grade:
SpecialistDuties:
Maintains accounts payable files. Reviews all bills forwarded to bank for payment, verifies validity, account number and amount of bill then submits to Chief Financial Officer for approval of payment. Prepares drafts and mails payments. Reconciles correspondent bank balances. Posts general ledger transactions to FMS system daily, types descriptions, records entries and balances general ledger daily. Acts as backup to funds management, buying and selling of fed funds. Assists in investigating Federal Reserve check adjustments and requests corrections from Federal Reserve or other depository institutions. Reconciles various general ledger accounts. Acts as backup to wire for investment accounting, recording purchases, sales and maturities. Completes reports and performs other administrative duties for CFO and Controller as requested.
Skills:
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and basic computer knowledge.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in related positions required.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in business curriculum. Associates degree preferred.
