Bennett Automotive Group of Lebanon — Lebanon, PA Bennett Toyota of Lebanon is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced dealership environment. Automotive dealership accounting experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong accounting or administrative background. Responsibilities Process and record daily dealership accounting transactions Post and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable Process invoices, statements, and vendor payments Verify invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy Assist with daily cash and deposit reconciliation Process and record vehicle-related transactions Assist with deal posting and verification Reconcile vehicle inventory and related accounting records Assist with floorplan and lender-related accounting Maintain accurate customer, vendor, and accounting records Research and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end accounting procedures and reconciliations File and maintain accounting documentation Communicate with Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, and Management regarding accounting questions Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Comfortable working with numbers and financial information Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Ability to learn dealership accounting software Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, professional, and willing to learn High school diploma or equivalent required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time position Benefits package Paid time off Employee vehicle purchase and service benefits Training and professional development Opportunities for advancement within Bennett Auto Group Stable, professional work environment Supportive management team
