You'll work directly with our Senior Accountant, processing vendor invoices, running payments, and keeping our books accurate and audit-ready. This is a great fit for someone who's detail-oriented, comfortable in QuickBooks and Excel, and wants steady, full-time clerical accounting work. What You'll Do Review and code vendor invoices for approval and payment Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation Process payment runs (checks, ACH, wire) and maintain accurate records Maintain the vendor file, including W-9s and 1099 tracking Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies Respond to vendor and internal inquiries on invoice/payment status Handle construction-specific AP documents (lien waivers, retainage, draw request backup) Support month-end close with AP aging and accrual schedules Maintain organized, audit-ready AP files Daily balance review of read only bank accounts Prepare annual 1099 filings Filing What We're Looking For Working knowledge of accounts payable and basic bookkeeping principles High school diploma required; Associate's degree in accounting a plus 1+ years of AP, bookkeeping, or clerical accounting experience preferred Comfortable with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of routine work under deadline Clear written and verbal communication for vendor and internal correspondence Construction or real estate accounting background a plus, not required
