Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our client is a locally owned and operated master distributor headquartered in Phoenixville, PA.

Job Title:

Accounts Receivable Specialist Pay rate: $20/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Contact customers via phone and email to collect overdue payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection activities.
• Process and post customer payments, applying cash receipts accurately.
• Reconcile AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger and investigate variances.
• Prepare weekly and monthly collection and cash flow reports for management.
• Establish, review, and manage customer credit limits, including research for new accounts.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems; experience with Dun & Bradstreet reporting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
