Non-exempt Position Summary:
Responsible for activities in accounts payable and month-end close to ensure accurate and timely financial statement reporting. The position will work cross-functionally with multiple departments and external parties
Job Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices and payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Ensure appropriate vendor setup Generate and maintain positive relationships with vendors regarding payables Manage the activities of the company credit card and reimbursement platforms to ensure transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner, in collaboration with other finance team members Participate in the monthly closing process, including preparing journal entries, preparing accruals, account reconciliations, and generating reports Support external and internal audit and reporting requirements. Assist in regulatory filings, as needed. Research and resolve problems and errors using internal and external sources and systems. Participate in and lead ad hoc projects and other responsibilities, as needed Maintain organized files and records
Qualifications & Experience:
Knowledge of full-cycle accounts payable and receivable in a high-volume environment Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, and external parties Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred) and Microsoft Office programs 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
