We're partnering with a growing, mid-sized organization in the Twin Cities that is seeking an AP/AR Sepcialist to join its accounting team. This is more than a transactional accounting role. The team is looking for someone who can think critically, investigate discrepancies, improve processes, and build strong working relationships across accounting, operations, and other business functions. What You'll Do Process vendor invoices, customer invoicing, and daily payment activity Review and reconcile vendor statements and account discrepancies Monitor reporting dashboards, exception reports, and workflow queues Investigate issues and partner with internal teams to drive resolution Manage accounting-related communications and respond to inquiries Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency Maintain accurate records and documentation What We're Looking For 1+ years of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and solve problems Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and tech savvy Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related experience Experience supporting complex payables processes Background in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or other operational environments Why Consider This Opportunity?
