This position is best for someone looking to have a long term, stable, almost fully remote job. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our client accounts to our standards and SOPs. You will communicate with clients and coworkers and track progress on your tasks. Bookkeeping is exclusively done in QuickBooks Online. We are looking for a detail oriented, accounting experienced, flexible team player.

Job duties include:

• Taking initiative for the upkeep of assigned clients, including bank connections, bank transactions, reconciliations, 1099s, and other applicable Journal Entries.
• Evaluating your work, reviewing financial statements, and communicating with team members for peer review.
• Effectively and politely communicating with the client to obtain documentation and answer questions.
• NEVER disclosing client information to anyone outside of the client or Rosewater teammates.

You should not apply if:

• You struggle to manage time or tasks.
• You have no experience with tax based bookkeeping.

QuickBooks can be learned, accounting knowledge or experience within a business is required.
