Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team! The Office Assistant/Bookkeeper is responsible for providing administrative, purchasing, shipping and accounting support to ensure efficient daily business operations. This role handles customer orders from receipt through shipment and invoicing, maintains accurate records, and supports company purchasing and financial documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization committed to excellence and growth. Responsibilities Answer telephone calls and take accurate messages. Maintain professional communication with customers and internal staff. Record incoming customer purchase orders. Create internal work orders based on purchase orders. Close out work orders when orders are ready to ship. Prepare shipping documents, including shipping labels, packing slips, and bills of lading. Schedule carrier pickups for outgoing shipments. Invoice customers upon completion of orders. Post and maintain records of company purchase invoices. Maintain accurate internal records of business transactions. Use QuickBooks Online for invoicing and transaction posting. Place purchase orders on behalf of the company. Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and supporting office operations to ensure efficiency.
