Job Description
The Lower Savannah Council of Governments, a regional planning and development agency located in Aiken, SC, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance Clerk. This position is responsible for assisting the Finance Director in the management and maintenance of the organizations financial programs and systems. Duties include processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, payroll and assisting with employee benefits. Candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in accounting related software, such as databases and spreadsheets. An associate degree in finance, accounting or business-related field and minimum one year of finance, accounting or payroll experience is preferred.
