Job Responsibilities:
Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; will process bi-weekly payroll, regular and periodic financial data, and government payments, forms, and documents.
Job Duties:
Prepares consolidated internal financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and multiple internal sources. Maintains and balances accounts accurately in computer system by verifying and inputting data. Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports. Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts. Record accounting transactions; reconciling bank accounts. Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes. Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Provides accounting support by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements. Protects organization's data by keeping information confidential. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years accounting experience as well as a knowledge of accepted accounting principles. Experience in manufacturing accounting environment preferred.
• Knowledge of accepted accounting principles, working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems, and demonstrated ability to manage computer operations and applications in finance are essential. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent applicable experience required.
