Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a knack for accuracy and efficiency? We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to support our AP team. In this critical role, you will provide essential financial, administrative, and clerical support, ensuring the precise and timely processing of invoices and payments to maintain vendor relationships and support the financial health of the company.
salary:
$22 - $23 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5

No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesThe Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support by ensuring that invoices are processed accurately and payments are made in a timely manner. This role involves reviewing and reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall efficiency of the accounting department. Review, verify, and process invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents. Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, or wire transfers). Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly. Assist with month-end closing by providing necessary accounts payable reports and reconciliations. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation as requested. Collaborate with purchasing and other departments to ensure accuracy of records and timely payments. Other tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma (or equivalent) required, Associate s degree or some college courses in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
