Job Description
Assistant Director of Accounting. Appalachia Service Project, Inc., a nonprofit organization which repairs and builds new homes for low-income families seeks Assistant Director of Accounting to manage construction related financial data, process grant costs and disbursements, reconcile bank statements and manage accounting of construction costs. Must have Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 2 years combined accounting and project management experience, including cost accounting, providing financial reporting, bank reconciliations, identify work efficiencies, experience in month and year-end closing, bank reconciliations, proficiency using an integrated general ledger accounting program, such as Quickbooks and Microsoft Great Plains, Business Central and/or Excel applications.
