Type:

full-time We're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role will process invoices, maintain vendor records, and support project accounting. Ideal candidates will have experience in high-volume AP, strong organizational skills, and detail oriented. This position is full-time, on-site position in Knoxville, Tennessee. Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm

Your Tasks:
  • Issue and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
  • Process invoices in a timely manner.
  • Resolve discrepancies and communicate with vendors and Project Managers.
  • Maintain vendor records in
COINS ERP.
  • Ensure expense reports are completed on time.
  • Help with annual and monthly closing and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with answering phones while the receptionist is on lunch or PTO.
  • Assist AP Manager and Controller, as assigned.
Experience or Certification needed:

2+ years of Accounts Payable experience. Experience in Construction accounting preferred.

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred; equivalent AP experience will also be considered.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You need to be able to: Keep it a Drug-free Workplace. Be punctual and reliable. Work as a team. Comfortable managing multiple priorities. Sit or stand at a computer for 8 hours per day.
