Job Description

Our Client, a specialty trade contractor specializing in exterior residential and light commercial projects—such as roofing, siding, windows, and other related services—is looking to fill an immediate contract position for a temporary Accounts Payable professional. This individual will play a key role in managing high-volume invoice processing and vendor payments within a dynamic, fast-paced accounting environment, ultimately supporting the team in streamlining and expediting the company's close process.

Schedule:
Flexible Part-Time to Full-Time Hours Up to 40 hours/week during month-end close Approximately 20-30 hours/week during non-close periods Ideal candidate could work a flexible schedule Key Responsibilities Full-cycle accounts payable processing Perform 3-way matching Enter and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal operations teams Assist with month-end AP close activities Maintain organized AP records and supporting documentation Utilize Excel for reconciliations, reporting, and data review Requirements Prior Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment
Required:
Experience using Acumatica ERP Strong understanding of 3-way match Intermediate Excel skills preferred with V-lookups proficiency Ability to work independently and manage fluctuating weekly workloads
