AB_5058746 We are seeking a Customer Care / Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team in the beverage distribution industry. This role combines customer service, accounts receivable, order processing, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with customers and internal teams to resolve account and order-related questions. What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in customer service, accounts receivable, order processing, or a related administrative role. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulatory requirements. Customer service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Ability to research account issues, identify discrepancies, and communicate solutions clearly. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas. Ability to work effectively with customers, sales professionals, and cross-functional teams. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/account management systems is a plus.
salary:
$20 - $22 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers regarding accounts receivable, orders, invoices, and general account questions. Respond promptly and professionally to customer phone calls and emails, researching issues and providing timely resolutions. Research customer accounts to explain open invoices, short payments, credits, and other account discrepancies. Support collection activities by following established aging, delinquency, and collection procedures. Research missing invoices and provide customers with invoice copies and other requested documentation. Process customer orders and respond to general order inquiries, providing first-level customer support. Work closely with Sales Teams and internal Accounts Receivable and Customer Account Services teams to resolve issues and complete required documentation. Maintain accurate account documentation and ensure necessary paperwork is completed and routed appropriately. Assist with accounts receivable functions across assigned customer accounts. Respond to inbound customer calls and cases while minimizing unnecessary transfers. Use Salesforce and other systems to document customer interactions and account activity.
