Full Job Description Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Controller who performs a variety of accounting and administrative duties as assigned.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the organization's financial reporting and general ledger structure Maintain internal accounting control procedures Perform reconciliations on AP/AR/GL/bank accounts Analyze, interpret, and reconcile general ledger activity ensuring compliance with established company accounting procedures Assist with month-end close Assemble journal entries and account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, point of sale entries, and web sales Assist with depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data Overlook CD investment schedule entries Assist with preparation of direct/indirect/NIB labor reports Support Controller with special projects and improvements Perform other duties as assignedSUPERVISION RECEIVED/GIVEN
Works with minimal supervision and does not supervise other employees.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in Accounting or related field At least 1-2 years experience working in accounting/finance, including experience with debits and credits, analyzing and reconciling all assigned accounts into the general ledger and sub-ledger Must be detailed and have the ability work independently Must be proficient using MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook Must have excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills STLB is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
