Job Description

Role Overview We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Decatur, Texas. In this role, you will assist with all aspects of AP inventory, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain strong vendor relationships. This position requires an individual who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team setting.

Compensation:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Match purchase orders and receivers to invoices daily for multiple retail locations. Research and resolve problematic invoices or inventory items. Report billing discrepancies to the appropriate internal personnel. Reconcile vendor statements to ensure account accuracy. Handle high-volume data entry and administrative filing. Communicate effectively with vendors and all levels of NRS staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the AP Manager.
Experience & Skills Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a high-volume AP role.
Tech Skills:
Strong, up-to-date computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge:
Working understanding of fundamental accounting concepts.
Communication:
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work Style:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 2 hours).
