Job Description

Subcontractor Accounts Payable Administrator ("Subpay") We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Subcontractor Accounts Payable Administrator to join our accounting team. This role works closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of subcontractor payments, maintain compliance documentation, and support smooth accounts payable operations.

Pay Range:
$29-$35 per hour (based on experience) Key Responsibilities Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department. Accurately enter daily financial transactions into the accounting system and meet weekly processing deadlines. Assist field personnel with financial inquiries and provide accounts payable support as needed. Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy in subcontractor accounts. Communicate professionally with subcontractors regarding payment status, documentation, and related inquiries. Maintain organized and up-to-date subcontractor files and records, including insurance and compliance documentation. Provide enrollment support as needed to subcontractors to ensure compliance with Contractor Insurance Program (CIP) requirements. Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in accounting, preferably in an accounts payable role. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Access databases is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial records. Excellent numerical skills and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage filing and record-keeping systems. Effective written and verbal communication skills with a professional, courteous demeanor. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
