In this vital role, you will manage day-to-day financial record-keeping, ensure accuracy in financial transactions, and support compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, facilitate smooth audits, and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting strategic financial initiatives. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using spreadsheets and financial software, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and industry regulations. Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports efficiently while verifying accuracy and completeness. Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Assist with tax accounting preparations, including sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements. Support financial model development by analyzing data trends and preparing reports for management review. Ensure adherence to financial regulatory compliance standards related to financial reporting, internal controls, and industry-specific regulations. Support project management efforts by coordinating tasks related to finance operations and process improvements. Experience Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with a focus on bookkeeping or similar functions. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel spreadsheets for analysis and reporting purposes. Familiarity with financial software systems used for bookkeeping, accounting, or enterprise resource planning (ERP). Experience in financial model development, analysis skills, and auditing processes is highly desirable. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
