Job Description The Manual Cash Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of manual cash receipts and individual check payments, ensuring all transactions are completed in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company/CSSC standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and banking partners to maintain accurate financial records and support operational efficiency.
Requirements Knowledge & Skills:
Working knowledge of banking operations and experience supporting multiple entities. Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including
U.S. GAAP.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and telephone communication skills. Commitment to delivering professional and responsive customer service. Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. 0 to 3 years of directly related or closely related experience preferred. Previous experience in accounts receivable, payment processing, banking operations, cash handling, lockbox processing, or administrative support is a plus. Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic data entry skills preferred.
