Part-Time Accounting Specialist

Part-Time Accounting Specialist Growing multi-entity organization seeking an experienced Remote Part-Time Accounting Specialist (15-25 hours/week). This is not an entry-level role, hands-on accounting experience is required.

Compensation:

$20-$25 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

Full-cycle Accounts Payable Code transactions accurately in Quickbooks Online Vendor management and 1099 tracking/filing Monthly bank & credit card reconciliations Assist with month-end close Process payments through Bill.com and/or Ramp Order various supplies and materials as needed Maintain accurate records in

QuickBooks Online Required:

Proven 1099 compliance experience Strong AP background Demonstrated month-end bank reconciliation experience Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred:

Associate degree in Accounting or related field Bill.com or Ramp experience Multi-entity accounting experience Flexible schedule. Competitive hourly rate based on experience. This position is primarily remote ; however, candidates must be available to work in-office 1-2 days per week in Herndon and travel to our other office locations at least once per month to conduct inventory and asset counts.
