The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership. Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support monthly financial reporting. Work closely with operations to ensure permitting, inspections, inventory, and job completion activities are accurately reflected in financial records. Assist leadership with budgeting, financial analysis, operational reporting, and business decision support. Help ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. What We're Looking For 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably within construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, generator, or other home service industries. Experience with ServiceTitan or a comparable field service management software strongly preferred. Strong understanding of job costing, inventory accounting, payroll, and operational accounting. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage (or the ability to quickly learn Sage). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience. Why Join Bob Garrett Services? Stable, growing company with an established reputation throughout Southwest Virginia. Opportunity to play a key role in both the financial and operational success of the business. Collaborative, team-oriented environment where your work has a direct impact on company performance. Bob Garrett Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All candidates must pass a comprehensive pre-employment screening upon hire, including a review of criminal history. #IND
