•Part-Time Accounting Assistant

PART TIME/TEMP OR TEMP TO HIRE

position requiring availability between the hours of 8AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA with a max of 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

Key Skills & Responsibilities Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records Perform data entry and record financial transactions Use QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounting tasks Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare invoices, expense reports, and financial documentation Monitor transactions and identify discrepancies Organize receipts, records, and supporting documentation Assist with monthly financial reporting and closing procedures Provide general administrative and accounting support Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience Proficiency with QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Comfortable working independently Proficient with Microsoft Office/Excel Professional communication and problem-solving skills Available for 20 hours per week

Benefits:

$18.00+ an hour (depending on experience level) Weekly Pay
