PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER
The Veterans Place, Inc. is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. 20 hours per week | Salaried | Starting at $30,000+ annually We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced with bookkeeping and accounting systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll and account reconciliations
- Monthly financial reports
- Budget and grant expense tracking
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Preparing financial information for tax preparation, audits, and required reporting Experience with a variety of accounting software and spreadsheets is required.
Nonprofit and grant-funded accounting experience is strongly preferred. We're looking for someone who values accuracy, confidentiality, accountability, and being part of a team supporting Vermont Veterans. ????
