Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Automotive Accounting/Accounts Payable specialist to join our accounting team. This energetic role involves managing accounts payable processes, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail and a passion for financial excellence. Duties Process and verify invoices using CDK and Excel, ensuring timely payments and accuracy Manage accounts payable workflows, including data entry, invoice processing, and approval routing Reconcile vendor statements and perform account reconciliations to ensure consistency across ledgers Prepare and Balance Daily Bank Deposits Prepare journal entries related to accounts payable transactions and assist with general ledger accounting tasks Utilize Excel data analysis skills and creating spreadsheets for reporting purposes Support accounts receivable management and assist with month-end closing activities involving the general ledgerQualifications Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the automotive industry or public accounting firms Able to work as a team with accounting staff covering as needed. Proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheet management, and technical accounting concepts like debits & credits Excellent analysis skills with the ability to perform account reconciliation and journal entries accurately Experience handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in automotive finance operations.
