Accounting Specialist Provisional Recruiting Spokane, WA Job Details Temp-to-hire | Full-time $25.69 - $30.93 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Administrative experience Data management Attention to detail Accounting Time management Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join a fast paced and busy property management organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, Excel, depreciation schedules, and sales tax reporting . This position will also provide support with select human resources functions , making it a great opportunity for someone with a well-rounded administrative and accounting background.
Duties Include:
Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Process invoices, payments, deposits, and account reconciliations Prepare and maintain depreciation schedules and tables Assist with monthly and year-end accounting activities Prepare and file sales tax reports Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting, analysis, spreadsheets, and financial tracking Assist with account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies Support general accounting and administrative functions as needed Assist with various HR-related responsibilities, including employee records, onboarding, payroll support, and other HR administrative tasks Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and employee information
Qualifications:
Previous accounting experience with a strong understanding of AP and AR Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data management Experience with depreciation schedules/tables and sales tax reporting Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Previous HR experience or exposure to HR functions preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Accounting degree, coursework, or equivalent professional experience preferred
Pay:
$25.69 - $30.93 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
