This role will provide hands-on accounting support while members of the finance team are on leave.

Pay:

$25-$27/hour

DOE Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM | 100%

ASAP This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong Accounts Receivable, reconciliation, and Excel skills who can quickly step in and support a busy accounting team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment application, and customer account maintenance Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations Research and resolve customer account discrepancies Assist with credit holds, credit card processing, and basic credit reviews Support month-end close and prepare journal entries Reconcile and analyze financial data using Excel Assist with fixed and capital asset accounting as needed Support special accounting projects and other finance team needs

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Accounting Specialist, or related accounting experience Solid understanding of general accounting principles Experience with reconciliations and journal entries Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, filtering, and sorting Comfortable working with large datasets and performing data reconciliations Fixed asset or capital asset experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently and hit the ground running Why Consider Immediate opportunity with a quick interview process Gain additional accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Broad exposure across AR, reconciliations, month-end close, and general accounting Short-term assignment of up to 3 months $22-$28/hour DOE This is an immediate need, and interviews are being scheduled quickly.
