Job Description

We have an outstanding workplace with a team that takes pride in exceptional service. We currently have a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper at our DeForest location. In this position your responsibilities will include:
Transaction Processing & Proofing :
Process, post and verify daily transactions, including wire transfers. Download and review financial reports.
Account Reconciliation :
Balance money orders, official checks, loan loss reserve, general ledger, and other accounts as required. Maintain and replenish the ATM machine.
Debit Card Maintenance :
Conduct daily debit card maintenance, assist clients with debit card fraud cases and ensure account accuracy.
Document Generation & Compliance :
Generate and distribute interest/holiday club checks, account statements, and annual tax documents per the established schedule.
Customer Service & Support:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, handling phone calls, performing account research and retrieving records as needed.
Online Banking & Services Assistance :
Respond to customer inquiries related to online banking and bill payment services and other online banking services.
Account Balancing :
Assist customers with account balancing and reconciliation upon request.
Audit Committee Participation :
Support audit-related activities and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory guidelines.
Accounts Payable Management :
Oversee all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
