We have an outside accountant for higher-level accounting and tax guidance. This position will work closely with management, Project Managers, and our accountant to keep financial information accurate, current, and organized. Responsibilities Manage and maintain QuickBooks across multiple business lines Manage Accounts Receivable and follow up on past-due accounts Collect, track, and enter customer payments and deposits Prepare bank deposits Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards Match receipts to credit card transactions and follow up on missing documentation Identify and resolve discrepancies and missing information Maintain accurate financial records Work with our outside accountant to resolve issues Review AI and automated accounting entries for accuracy and make corrections Help improve financial processes and procedures Accountability & Communication We need someone who is professional, confident, proactive, and comfortable holding others accountable.
You must be someone who:
Takes ownership and follows issues through to resolution Follows up when payments, receipts, or information are missing Investigates discrepancies rather than ignoring them Escalates problems promptly Communicates clearly and professionally Maintains confidentiality If something is missing, past due, or doesn't reconcile, you take action and get it resolved. Qualifications 2+ years of QuickBooks Online/bookkeeping experience Accounts Receivable experience Bank and credit card reconciliation experience High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Able to work independently and take initiative Construction/remodeling experience is a plus JobTread, and AI/accounting automation experience are a plus The Right Person We are looking for someone who is accurate, dependable, proactive, respectful, and confident—someone who takes ownership and doesn't let important issues fall through the cracks. You don't have to be an accountant. You do need to be someone who gets things done.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
