Full-Time About the Role AK Management Group is looking for a highly organized, motivated, and resourceful Operations Associate to support our growing company and management team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can help wherever needed, stay on top of open items, follow up consistently, and take ownership of tasks from start to finish. We are looking for someone who can operate with increasing independence. You may be given an objective rather than step-by-step instructions, and you should be comfortable figuring out the next steps, communicating with the right people, following through, and keeping management updated. The role will touch many areas of the business, including operations, administration, vendors, employees, projects, documentation, scheduling, research, and general problem-solving.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Following up on outstanding tasks, projects, documents, payments, appointments, and deadlines Maintaining organized task lists and ensuring items are completed Following up with employees, vendors, contractors, landlords, utility companies, and other third parties Supporting daily operational needs across multiple locations Coordinating projects and communicating between team members Tracking open issues and following through until they are resolved Making phone calls and sending professional emails on behalf of the company Scheduling meetings, inspections, repairs, service calls, and appointments Organizing company documents, invoices, records, contracts, and correspondence Creating and maintaining spreadsheets, trackers, checklists, and reports Researching vendors, services, pricing, properties, and other business needs Assisting with employee onboarding, documentation, scheduling, and coordination Taking notes during meetings and converting discussions into actionable tasks Identifying issues that may require management attention Assisting management with special projects and company initiatives Handling additional operational and administrative responsibilities as needed What We Are Looking For The most important qualities for this position are ownership, organization, urgency, reliability, and independence.
