Chief Financial Officer - The Vintage Club | Indian Wells, California The Vintage Club, one of the nation's premier private club and residential communities, is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a complex, high-service private club and community association.

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced financial executive who combines strong technical expertise with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style. Significant private club experience and proficiency with Jonas Club Management software are required. The CFO will work closely with the General Manager/CEO, Board of Directors, Finance Committee, department heads, and management team to ensure the Club maintains the highest standards of financial stewardship, reporting, planning, and internal controls. Key Responsibilities The Chief Financial Officer will: Direct all accounting and financial operations of The Vintage Club, Community association and its related entities. Lead the annual operating and capital budgeting processes and provide ongoing forecasting and financial analysis. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Provide meaningful financial analysis and recommendations to the General Manager/CEO, Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and department leadership. Oversee cash management, investments, banking relationships, accounts payable, accounts receivable, member billing, payroll coordination, and financial controls. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Club's financial information. Coordinate the annual audit and work closely with outside auditors, tax professionals, insurance representatives, banking partners, and other financial advisors. Oversee financial compliance, tax reporting, and other regulatory requirements. Manage and develop the accounting and finance team while establishing clear expectations, accountability, and high standards of performance. Partner with department heads to help them understand their financial performance, manage expenses, and achieve approved budgets. Provide financial planning and analysis related to major capital projects, long-range planning, reserves, and other strategic initiatives. Maintain and maximize the Club's use of Jonas Club Management software , ensuring accurate reporting, effective controls, and efficient financial processes. Support a culture in which the finance department is viewed as a responsive and collaborative resource for the entire organization. Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will possess: Significant financial leadership experience within the private club industry. Strong hands-on experience with Jonas Club Management software. Prior experience as a CFO, Controller, Director of Finance, or senior financial executive in a sophisticated private club or comparable hospitality organization. Strong knowledge of private club accounting, member billing, operating and capital budgeting, reserves, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience working effectively with a General Manager/CEO, Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and department heads. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial information into clear, understandable recommendations. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. A high degree of integrity, discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline; CPA and/or MBA is desirable. The individual should be a strong communicator who develops trusted relationships throughout the organization and is comfortable presenting financial information to senior leadership, committees, and the Board.
