This role will lead the organization's financial strategy, ensuring sustainability, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
What We Offer :
Salary range: $125k-$150k annually exempt. Bonus potential based on organizational and personal performance. Responsibilities :
Leads all financial reporting activities, including monthly updates and presentations to the President/CEO, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors. Manages financial statement and benefit plan audits, coordinates with CPA firm on IRS Form 990 preparation, and completes required state and regulatory filings. Oversees departmental and organization-wide budgets, collaborating with leadership and the Board to ensure financial health, sustainability, and alignment with strategic goals. Directs the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations. Ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulatory obligations, grant requirements, and continuously strengthens financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and reporting systems. Partners with leadership to coordinate and prioritize short-term and long-term organizational planning.
Qualifications :
Masters Degree in Accounting required. 10+ years of experience in a similar role required. 5+ years of proven leadership and management experience. Previous experience working with Medicaid, DHS and other State agency funding is a plus. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus. Must be at least 21 years of age. Why Griffith Centers?
