Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance 401k Retirement Plan Profit sharing Relocation assistance (if applicable) Chief Financial Officer Duties & Responsibilities Provide executive-level financial leadership and strategic direction for the organization. Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Develop and implement financial strategies that support company growth, profitability, and long-term stability. Partner closely with ownership and executive leadership to guide business decisions and operational planning. Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including cash flow management, cost control, and margin improvement. Manage banking relationships, financing strategies, and capital structure. Oversee job costing, WIP reporting, and project financial performance across multiple construction projects. Establish and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax filings, and audit processes. Provide oversight of payroll, AP/AR, and financial systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Drive process improvements and implement best practices across financial operations. Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives as needed. Build and mentor a high-performing accounting and finance team. Chief Financial Officer Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred . CPA preferred , but not required. Minimum of 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within construction. Experience with a General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, or Mechanical Contractor strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction accounting, including job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage of completion accounting. Proven experience leading financial strategy in a growth-oriented environment. Strong understanding of cash flow management, forecasting, and financial modeling. Experience working with ERP/accounting systems commonly used in construction. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to operate at both a strategic and hands-on level. #BASE1
