Position Overview:

The CFO plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of North Iowa Community Action Organization (NICAO) programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Directs fiscal activities of the organization Prepare financial budgets, reports and analyzing projected program expenses Oversee grant applications, amendments, and compliance requirements Oversee monthly payroll processes (journal entries, benefit payments, etc.) Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and excel spreadsheets Prepare monthly financials and reports Assist with annual audits and work collaboratively within the fiscal department

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required). Knowledge of fund accounting (preferred) Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
