Job Description

We are looking for a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial planning, capital strategy, and executive decision support for an organization in Rock Island, Illinois. This role will guide long-term growth initiatives, strengthen financial operations, and partner closely with senior leadership on business performance and investment priorities. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment in corporate finance, experience supporting transactions, and the ability to build productive relationships with banking and business partners.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the company's financial strategy by aligning budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning with broader business objectives.
  • Provide executive leadership on capital allocation, profitability improvement, and financial risk management across the organization.
  • Evaluate acquisition and merger opportunities through financial modeling, due diligence coordination, and strategic assessment.
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate organizational goals into measurable financial plans and operational priorities.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, forecasts, and business insights that support informed decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with banking institutions and external financial partners to support liquidity, financing, and treasury needs.
  • Strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and reporting practices to improve accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
  • Advise leadership on market conditions, growth opportunities, and investment scenarios that influence long-term planning.
