OVERVIEW
Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Yellowstone Boys and Girls you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, providing strategic guidance to the executive team, and ensuring the company's financial health and stability. The CFO will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, optimizing performance, and safeguarding assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate Review and update all YBGR financial policies and procedures annually. Take the initiative to identify problems and seek out solutions. Management Demonstrates effective management of a team toward achievement of goals, including appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Manage all financial resources of the company and make decisions to aid its growth. Oversee the matter of finance as well to make decisions regarding budget and financial plans of YBGR. Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package. Compliance Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Adhere to all policies, systems, safety requirements, and procedures of the organization. Maintain appropriate property and liability insurance coverage. Maintain speed and accuracy of billing and client payments. Leadership Provides leadership and supervision to the accounting department as outlined in the supervisor duties below. Lead process for preparation of annual operating and capital budgets. Performance Deal constructively and helpfully with all other members of the organization. Be a professional representative of the organization to those outside it. Participate in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) goals of the organization individually and as a team member. Participate and engage in monthly supervision/coaching meetings with the supervisor. Reports Prepare financial reports regarding the performance of YBGR for the CEO and Board of Directors. Consulting Advise ELC and Board regarding all laws and reporting requirements related to financial operations of YBGR. Training Responsible for ensuring appropriate staff training and education programs are provided. Participate in required training as appropriate to the position and beneficial to YBGR. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training employees.

Child Abuse Clearance:
Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana. 10 years of professional work experience in a leadership role in Behavioral Healthcare or Public Accounting with Healthcare Financial Management experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or executive capacity. Proficiency
Supervision:
Supervised and mentored an accounting team of five or more professionals, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Cash Flow Management & Budgeting:
Monitor liquidity, direct budget processes, and build financial forecasts to support daily operations and future expansion. Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Proficiency
Financial Strategy & Planning:
Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive long-term business planning.
Financial Reporting & Accounting:
Oversee finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and regulatory compliance.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial, legal, and operational risks through the implementation of financial controls and contingency plans.
