Job summary - The Family CFO is a lead advisor position that requires significant experience in the areas of investment management, tax planning, estate strategy, and financial planning. The Family CFO is ultimately responsible for client relationships, services delivered, and client satisfaction. Each Family CFO leads client meetings, performs technical investment, tax, and financial planning research, communicates recommendations to clients, assists Prairiewood's CPAs with client tax return preparation and reviews, and assists with creating technical content for Prairiewood's marketing processes. The Family CFO will lead a team which includes an Assistant Advisor and an Office Manager/Client Service Associate. The Family CFO is responsible for mentoring Assistant Advisors and developing their skillset to help them progress in their careers. Why join an independent registered investment advisor (RIA) firm? Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate who has 5+ years of experience in a lead advisor role that could transition into a Family CFO role after initial training in Prairiewood's processes. The Family CFO role typically requires the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Individuals applying must have a CFP, CFA or CPA designation 5+ years of experience providing financial advice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts. Proficiency with Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
