This is a critical leadership position for a tactical, proactive finance executive ready to make an immediate operational impact. Managing financial strategies across multiple active LLCs, the ideal candidate will take swift ownership of accounting operations, optimize core processes, and provide steady leadership through an exciting period of organizational transition.
salary:
$150,000•$200,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM•4 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Direct specialized accounting operations, including job costing, ASC 606 revenue recognition, WIP schedules, and progress billings using AIA documentation. Manage, mentor, and hold a 5-person accounting and HR team accountable to strict deadlines and high performance standards. Implement a structured month-end and year-end close process to produce accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements, trial balances, and audit-ready records. Utilize industry-standard construction software (such as Vista Viewpoint or Sage) to maintain general ledger integrity and optimize financial workflows. Establish robust financial controls to prevent fraud while ensuring compliance with lien laws, joint check agreements, and subcontractor documentation. Oversee certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance in an open-shop environment, while optimizing multi-state tax strategies, fuel credits, and equipment write-offs. Drive accounts payable, accounts receivable, and liquidity management to maintain optimal working capital and eliminate cash bottlenecks.
