SkyCFOE9R(8.27.26)-0 Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Sioux Falls, SD Area | Executive Leadership | Full-Time A well-established and growing organization within the food service and hospitality industry is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven CFO who can oversee financial strategy and operations while serving as a key advisor on contracts, negotiations, business decisions, and future growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the organization's finance and accounting functions Partner with ownership and senior leadership on financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning Oversee financial reporting, cash flow, internal controls, risk management, and overall financial performance Lead the review, evaluation, and negotiation of contracts and business agreements Analyze contract terms, pricing structures, financial commitments, and potential risks Participate directly in negotiations and provide strategic recommendations to leadership Evaluate growth opportunities, investments, and business initiatives Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency Maintain relationships with banking, insurance, legal, accounting, and other external partners Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure financial strategy supports the business Qualifications Prior CFO experience required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field CPA license preferred Strong experience with contract review and negotiations Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a related industry strongly preferred Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls Proven ability to analyze complex financial and contractual matters Strong negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills Ability to partner effectively with ownership, leadership, operations, and outside business partners Strategic mindset with a willingness to remain hands-on when needed Why Consider This Opportunity?
