Conduct thorough claims adjudication, ensuring all aspects of liability and casualty insurance claims are properly evaluated. Engage in claims negotiation with clients, contractors, and legal representatives to reach fair settlement agreements while preventing fraud and detecting suspicious activity. Maintain detailed documentation of all claim activities, including reports on fraud prevention efforts and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth claims processing and uphold regulatory compliance in all interactions. Stay informed about industry best practices, updates in insurance law—including workers' compensation law—and changes in insurance regulation to ensure adherence to legal standards. Skills Strong analysis skills with the ability to evaluate complex insurance claims efficiently and accurately. Proven experience in property insurance claims processing, casualty insurance experience, and workers' compensation law knowledge. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Expertise in auto estimating tools like Xactimate for property damage assessment. Excellent negotiation skills to resolve claims effectively while maintaining positive client relationships. Deep understanding of insurance regulation, fraud prevention techniques, and regulatory compliance in claims processing. Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously with attention to detail. Effective client communication skills to explain claim decisions clearly and empathetically.
