Utilize estimating software such as Xactimate or similar tools to accurately determine claim values and damages. Detect potential fraud through analysis skills and implement fraud prevention strategies during claims processing. Negotiate settlements effectively with clients, vendors, and third-party claimants to reach mutually beneficial resolutions. Process property insurance claims by assessing damages, reviewing policy coverage, and ensuring regulatory compliance in claims adjudication. Maintain clear communication with clients regarding claim status updates, required documentation, and resolution timelines. Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with insurance law and industry regulations while adhering to organizational policies for regulatory compliance. Experience Proven experience in casualty or property insurance claims processing with a focus on cargo damage or liability claims. Strong knowledge of insurance law, regulation standards, and claims adjudication procedures. Demonstrated ability to use estimating software such as Xactimate or equivalent property damage estimation tools effectively. Skilled in negotiation techniques to settle claims efficiently while maintaining positive client relationships. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting purposes. Experience in fraud detection and prevention within an insurance context is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
