Claims Specialist - An Island Deliveries Claims & Insurance Specialist mitigates property and freight claims that occur during the delivery process. You would be responsible for communicating with account reps or customers directly and coming to a monetary resolution. A strong applicant would be comfortable speaking with multiple different parties at one time (quote, account reps, customers, and Island Deliveries Delivery teams). You would also be responsible for overseeing the company's insurance. Ensuring drivers are added to the policy, COIs are sent to requesting parties, getting quotes for new coverage, etc. After completely the claims work for the day you would be helping out in our customer service representative department. Customer Service Representative- A customer service representative's role within Island Deliveries is to communicate with customers and accounts through email and phone effectively. A customer service representative will act as a liaison, provide service information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers and accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction. A customer service representative must be efficient with outlook and printing abilities as they ensure all routes are printed accordingly. You will be the point of contact for your accounts. Typically each customer service representative has 2 or more accounts that they are the point of contact for. You would be reaching out to customers to get their deliveries scheduled, updating the accounts portal (if they have one) answering phones and sending out emails to customers, reaching out to drivers. We are looking for a professional customer-oriented service representative. Responsibilities Manage large amounts of incoming calls Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies Take the extra mile to engage customers Starting Rate is $23.00 an hour. 40 hours a week (Full-Time Position).
