Job Description

Are you working in a shop and looking for a change? We are looking for someone to handle claims for a local adjusting company that currently handles claims for auto/RV/trucks and recreational vehicles. If it moves, we handle it. We DO NOT currently handle property claims. You will home office and travel within the Southern MN, Northern IA and potentially Sioux Falls, SD markets inspecting vehicles. You will need to have or be able to obtain an MN independent adjuster's license. This is a sub-contracting position and you will have the ability to run your own business and set your own schedule. We have work to send you, but you are also able to add your own accounts. We will provide set up assistance if needed. No franchising fees.
Coverage areas needed:
Southern MN, Northern IA and potentially the Sioux Falls SD areas. Potential to earn 30-80,000+ per year, depending on claim load. This is currently a part-time contract job with potential to grow as the job and accounts build. Strong background in auto estimating and good communications skills required. Inquiries should submit resume information or send an email with qualifications and references. Responsibilities Investigate and evaluate insurance claims to determine coverage and liability. Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information. Analyze documentation, including police reports, to make informed decisions. Utilize negotiation skills to settle claims fairly and efficiently. Maintain accurate records and documentation of claim activities. Complete and settle total losses on vehicles. Summary As an Independent Claims Adjuster, you will utilize your core skills in negotiation, customer service, analysis, and organizational skills to effectively handle and settle insurance claims. Your premium skills in auto estimating, will be crucial in accurately assessing and processing claims. Additionally, your relevant skills in fair claims compliance law and estimating software will enable you to navigate complex insurance cases with precision. Pay:
$30,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
