Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supplement Specialist to join our dynamic team and support our existing manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims related to residential property losses for water, hail, wind, and mold, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will help streamline claims process, verify insurance coverage, and facilitate effective communication with providers and patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your knowledge of insurance policies and claims management will make a meaningful impact on patient care and organizational efficiency. Responsibilities Handle insurance claims processing for supplements, including verifying coverage and benefits Create detailed estimate for Residential and Commercial loss using Xactimate and Simbility. Interpret insurance policies and regulations to ensure accurate claims adjudication and compliance. Utilize insurance claims management software to input data, track claim status, and generate reports. Review claim documentation to support claims processing. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and patients to negotiate claims and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized filing systems for medical records, claims documentation, and correspondence. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards related to health insurance and workers' compensation law Experience Knowledge of property insurance. Familiarity with insurance claims adjudication, and litigation procedures related to insurance claims. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and experience with insurance claims management software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across diverse stakeholders. ASD, AMRT, and WRT certification preferred.
